Rental Terms & Conditions

By renting any console, gaming equipment or other item from Rent Mart BD, the renter confirms that they have read, understood and agreed to the following Terms & Conditions.

Section 01

Renter Verification

The renter must be 18 years of age or otherwise legally competent to enter into a contract under applicable Bangladesh law.

Before rental approval, the renter must provide:

  • Full Name
  • Active Phone Number
  • Valid NID / Passport
  • Present Address

The information must be accurate and belong to the renter.

Section 02

Guarantor Verification

A guarantor may be required as part of the rental process.

The guarantor must provide:

  • Full Name
  • Active Phone Number
  • Valid NID / Passport
  • Present Address
  • Relationship with the Renter

Where required, the guarantor must also sign the rental agreement acknowledging their role in the transaction.

Section 03

Rental Agreement & Video Record

Before receiving the equipment, the renter must sign the Rent Mart BD Rental Agreement.

For safety, verification and dispute-resolution purposes, Rent Mart BD may also record the agreement signing, identity verification, equipment condition and handover process on video with the renter's knowledge and consent.

Such recordings will be used only for rental administration, security, dispute resolution, equipment recovery or lawful purposes.

Section 04

NID / Passport Documents

A copy or record of the renter's valid NID or Passport will be collected temporarily for identity verification and rental security.

Where applicable, the guarantor's identification information may also be collected.

Rent Mart BD will take reasonable measures to protect such information and will not use it for unrelated promotional purposes without permission.

Section 05

Delivery & Setup

For gaming consoles and selected equipment, the Rent Mart BD team will deliver and set up the equipment directly at the approved rental location.

The renter must provide a safe and suitable environment for installation.

Once installed, the equipment must not be moved to another location without prior permission from Rent Mart BD.

Section 06

Equipment Handover & Condition

At the time of handover, the renter must check the console and all included accessories.

The equipment condition may be documented through:

  • Video
  • Photographs
  • Serial Numbers
  • Accessory Checklist
  • Written Condition Record

Acceptance of the equipment confirms that it was received in the condition stated in the rental agreement.

Section 07

Rental Period & Payment

The rental duration, handover date/time, return date/time, advance payment, total rental fee and remaining payment will be stated in the signed rental agreement.

Any extension must be approved by Rent Mart BD before the agreed return time.

Additional rental charges may apply for any approved extension or unauthorised late return.

Section 08

Proper Care of Equipment

The renter must take reasonable care of the equipment throughout the rental period.

The renter must not:

  • Open or repair the console/equipment
  • Modify hardware without permission
  • Damage or remove security seals
  • Use unsuitable electrical connections
  • Use the equipment in an unsafe environment
  • Allow unauthorised persons to take custody of it
Section 09

Internal / Technical Damage

Normal internal or technical faults will be inspected by Rent Mart BD.

If an internal fault occurs during normal and proper use and is not caused by the renter's misuse, negligence or unauthorised modification, Rent Mart BD will bear the responsibility for that technical issue.

However, if inspection shows that internal damage resulted from misuse, impact, overheating caused by improper placement, unauthorised opening/modification, improper electrical connection or other negligent use, the renter may be responsible for the reasonable repair cost.

Section 10

External, Physical & Water Damage

The renter will be responsible for external or physical damage occurring while the equipment is in their custody, including:

  • Cracks or broken parts
  • Damage caused by dropping or impact
  • Excessive scratches or cosmetic damage
  • Broken ports or connectors caused by misuse
  • Damaged controller or accessories
  • Water, liquid or moisture damage
  • Burn or electrical damage caused by improper use

Where the renter is responsible, the renter must pay the reasonable professional repair or replacement cost after inspection.

Section 11

Loss, Theft & Missing Components

The renter is responsible for keeping the rented equipment secure.

If the console, controller, cable, accessory or any other component is:

  • Lost
  • Stolen
  • Intentionally withheld
  • Not returned
  • Missing at the time of return

the renter may be required to pay the reasonable replacement value stated or determined under the rental agreement.

Any theft or loss must be reported to Rent Mart BD immediately.

Section 12

No Transfer or Sub-Rental

The renter must not:

  • Sub-rent the equipment
  • Sell or pledge it
  • Loan it to another person
  • Transfer custody to a third party
  • Move it to another address without permission

The person who signs the agreement remains responsible for the equipment throughout the rental period.

Section 13

Return of Equipment

All rented equipment and accessories must be returned on or before the agreed return date and time in substantially the same condition in which they were received, allowing for reasonable use where applicable.

Rent Mart BD may inspect the equipment before confirming completion of the rental.

Section 14

Late or Unreturned Equipment

If the renter fails to return the equipment within the agreed period without an approved extension, additional rental charges may apply.

Where equipment remains unreturned and reasonable contact/recovery attempts fail, Rent Mart BD reserves the right to take appropriate action in accordance with applicable laws of Bangladesh and the signed rental agreement.

Section 15

Fraudulent Information

The renter and guarantor confirm that all identification information and documents submitted to Rent Mart BD are authentic and accurate.

Submission of forged, stolen or intentionally false identification may result in cancellation of the rental and appropriate legal action according to applicable Bangladesh law.

Section 16

Privacy & Security

NID/Passport information, phone numbers, addresses, photographs and verification videos collected during the rental process will be used only where reasonably necessary for:

  • Identity Verification
  • Rental Administration
  • Security
  • Fraud Prevention
  • Equipment Recovery
  • Dispute Resolution
  • Lawful Compliance

Rent Mart BD will seek to keep such information secure and retain it only for as long as reasonably necessary for the relevant rental and related lawful purposes.

Section 17

Acceptance of Terms

By placing a rental order, providing verification documents, signing the rental agreement or accepting possession of the equipment, the renter confirms acceptance of these Terms & Conditions.

The signed Rent Mart BD Rental Agreement will contain the specific equipment details, rental dates, fees, replacement value and signatures applicable to each individual rental.
